Safety & Security Procedures for Home Football Games at Raymond A. Costello Stadium, as well as, the Burr Gymnasium have been updated. Please read below our policies & procedures.
Dear BCHS Community,
We are excited to welcome students, families, and spectators to join the Blue Devil Nation at our Athletic Facilities to support our Blue Devil teams, cheerleaders, and/or band.
We want to take this opportunity to inform you of our updated safety and security procedures for all home athletic events. These include:
The Burlington City Police Department will have officers on duty and on-site during the game. The School District will have contracted security personnel present. In addition, District administrators and District safety personnel are on duty during all athletic events. Students in grades K-8 are not allowed to attend a game without a parent or guardian present and on-site.
Prohibited Stadium Items/Behaviors
*Any person violating the above guidelines may be ejected from the event without refund.
Signs are permitted, but must be handheld, event-related, in good taste and cannot obstruct another guest's view. District administration reserves the right to mandate removal of signs that are in violation of above stadium guidelines.
Ticketing
Electronic ticketing has been implemented for all football, all basketball, and some wrestling sporting events for Burlington City High School. These events will be cashless at the gate/door entrances. As a result, spectators for Home Football, Basketball games, and Wrestling in the Burr will be required to purchase tickets online or via the Hometown Fan App. Spectators may purchase tickets prior to the event or at the event upon arrival to the stadium. QR codes will be posted on the BCHS Athletics website for advance sales and will also be available at the event Gate entrances. Ticket purchases will include a small online service fee. Senior citizens will be free of charge with a valid ID presented at the door or gate.
We thank you in advance for your help in ensuring a safe and secure game experience for all players and spectators.
Sincerely,
Erin Keenan, Athletic Director
